A cap seller rested under a tree and fell asleep. Naughty monkeys took his caps and wore them. He woke up and saw them on the tree. Cleverly, he threw his own cap down. The monkeys copied him and threw theirs too! He picked them up and smiled.

The Crow and the Pitcher

A thirsty crow was flying in search of water on a hot summer day. After a long search, he saw a pitcher with very little water at the bottom. He tried to drink but couldn’t reach it. Cleverly, he picked up small pebbles and dropped them one by one into the pitcher. Slowly, the water rose. He drank it happily!

🪣 Moral: "Where there is a will, there is a way."

The Boy Who Cried Wolf

A shepherd boy grew bored while watching his sheep on the hill. Just for fun, he shouted, “Wolf! Wolf!” The villagers came running, but there was no wolf. He laughed. He repeated the trick again. When a real wolf came, nobody believed him. The wolf came and ate all the sheep.

🐺 Moral: "No one believes a liar, even when he speaks the truth."

🐶 The Greedy Dog

A dog found a bone and ran home. Crossing a bridge, he saw his reflection in the water and thought it was another dog with a bigger bone. He barked and tried to snatch it, dropping his own bone into the water.

🐜 The Ant and the Dove

An ant fell into a stream. A dove saw it and dropped a leaf, saving the ant. Later, a hunter aimed at the dove, but the ant bit him. The hunter missed and the dove flew away safely.

💚 Moral: "A good deed is always returned."

🪓 The Honest Woodcutter

A woodcutter lost his axe in a river. A fairy appeared and offered him a golden axe, but he said it was not his. She offered a silver one, but he refused. When she gave his own axe, he accepted honestly. She rewarded him with all three axes!

✨ Moral: "Honesty is always rewarded."

🐢 The Hare and the Tortoise

The hare laughed at the slow tortoise and challenged him to a race. The tortoise accepted. The hare ran fast and soon slept under a tree. The tortoise kept moving and reached the finish line first.

The hare woke up too late!
